About the Founder of Threaded Memories by Diana

Threaded Memories was founded by Diana Dabliz Kaaki, a passionate teacher who believes in the power of creativity and heartfelt connections. As a PYP instructor, I have always infused art into my teaching, using my hands creatively to engage students and transform our classroom into an inspiring space.

My love for embroidery found a unique expression—bringing photographs to life through intricate thread work on paper. By blending embroidery stitches and techniques with this unconventional medium, I transform cherished moments into stunning, handcrafted keepsakes. 

Each piece is crafted with love, created for someone special—whether it’s for family, a friend, or a partner. This is more than just a creative process; it’s a labour of love, ensuring that every recipient treasures their piece as much as I do while making it.

Beyond Threaded Memories, I’m always exploring something new! From creating online courses on embroidery—whether on canvas, fabric, or paper—to experimenting with knitting, tile mosaics, and glass mosaics, creativity is at the heart of everything I do.
